Osimhen's Transfer: Snubs Manchester United and Arsenal, Keeps Chelsea in Play

Nigerian star footballer, Victor Osimhen, has become a hot topic in the transfer field as he garners interest from English Premier League giants Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea. However, recent reports suggest that the striker has rejected propositions from Manchester United and Arsenal, keeping Chelsea as his only Premier League option.

The 26-year-old striker recently completed his loan spell at Galatasaray where he further enhanced his reputation as a clinical finisher by scoring 37 times in 41 club games. This impressive performance has made him an attractive target for numerous European clubs.

Despite the lucrative offers from Turkish club Galatasaray and Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, Osimhen has reportedly turned down interest from both United and the Gunners. The Nigerian international is said to be still in talks with Chelsea, keeping the possibility of a move to Stamford Bridge open.

An obstacle to his potential transfers has been his hefty £100m release clause instituted by his parent club Napoli. However, this clause has now dropped to £65m for clubs outside Italy, making it more within reach for teams such as Chelsea who recently secured additional funding from Champions League football and their participation in FIFA's Club World Cup.

Osimhen's rumored rejection of United is a significant setback for the club in its mission to secure more firepower. It could potentially trigger Arsenal to intensify their pursuit of other targets such as Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres.
